Classes Explained
Our classes are colour coded and numbered to indicate intensity, please ask if you need any guidance or for any recommendations to help with your fitness plan.
PILATES
Pilates: a holistic wellbeing class based around the body’s natural actions and mindful movement. Pilates aims to reset the body’s balance and alignment whilst strengthening from the inside out. Suitable for all abilities.
YOGA
This is a flowing fitness yoga class, a great mix of traditional yoga postures and modern fitness principles. We offer a different class every week concentrating on the physical benefits of strength, balance and flexibility. The flowing movement and transition of different postures challenges the skeletal system and muscular strength and encourages symmetrical stability.
With a great chill out playlist, this is a progressive class suitable for everyone to enjoy. Our Wednesday class is perfectly suited for beginners.
AQUA AEROBICS
A low impact aerobics based pool workout for all ages and abilities.
DEEP WATER AQUA
A low impact aerobics based pool workout in deep water using a flotation aid for all ages and abilities.
KETTLEBELLS
A weight based fitness and toning class based around using body weight and kettlebell exercises. A choice of weights and exercise levels make this suitable for most abilities.
TOTAL BODY WORKOUT
Using body weight and weight based exercises to promote fitness and tone muscles. Sessions are varied for variety and to keep your body guessing! Suitable for most abilities.
HATTON BOXING FUNDAMENTALS AND FITNESS
A beginners class for first time boxers who want to learn the basics skills of the sport.
BARRE
Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates. It focuses on Low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to increase flexibility, muscle strength and endurance. Plus better posture whilst being gentle on the joints.
LATINO AEROBICS
Latino aerobics, often referred to as Latin dance aerobics or Zumba (a popular dance fitness program inspired by Latin dance styles), is a dynamic and enjoyable way to incorporate aerobic exercise into your routine while embracing the rhythms and movements of Latin American and Caribbean dances
ABS BLAST
An "Abs Blast" workout is designed to target and strengthen the abdominal muscles quickly and effectively. Here's a sample abs-focused workout that you can incorporate into your routine.
FREESTYLE FITNESS YOGA
A Freestyle Fitness Yoga class combines traditional yoga poses with elements of strength training, cardio, and flexibility exercises. This type of class is designed to offer a dynamic and varied workout that challenges both the body and mind.
STABILITY BALL
A stability ball, also known as an exercise or Swiss ball, can add an element of instability to your workouts, engaging various muscle groups to improve balance and core strength.
STRENGHT AND CONDITIONING
A General Physical Preparedness (GPP) workout is designed to enhance overall fitness and prepare the body for various physical activities. GPP workouts incorporate a combination of strength training, cardiovascular exercises, and mobility work.
MINDFUL MEDITATION
A restorative mindfulness-based meditation class to help you settle your mind, soothe your body and reconnect with a sense of calm. Through guided meditation, breath-work, gentle movement, sound healing and more, you’ll find any stress or overwhelm melting away so you can step into your week feeling energised, empowered and at ease in your world.
AEROBICS
Is an aerobic based workout with a hint of boxing. High and low energy moves that can be adapted to suit your level. Great for body & mind.
INFERNO
A high-intensity-ballistic workout based on a circuit for time. It combines functional, compound exercises that will work for multiple muscle groups. That can be taken at your own pace.
ZUMBA GOLD
A low impact, Latin inspired, Dance Fitness Class. Suitable for those wanting to smile whilst exercising.
SPINNING
Indoor cycling to focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity. Spin is an awesome high intensity, low impact workout that anyone can do - regardless of fitness level.
CIRCUITS
Is a high energy and fast-paced class which involves working your way around a range of different exercises focused on strength and cardiovascular movements.
STEP
An aerobic dance based workout using the exercise step. Rhythm and coordination are ideal but not essential. A fun way to exercise without feeling like you are exercising. Suitable for beginners and above.
OLIT
Elements of Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and Capoeira have been combined to create OLIT. Through this unique combination the movements in OLIT can flow naturally from one to another, with each movement in harmony with the body. However, OLIT is actually more than a mixture of various disciplines. It is the awareness of moving naturally and in harmony with one’s self. Its elements have gradually developed through many kinds of sports, exercises and dances.
LEGS BUMS AND TUMS
A "Legs, Bums, and Tums" workout is a popular fitness routine that focuses on toning and strengthening the lower body, specifically the legs, buttocks (bums), and abdominal area (tums).
SPRINT
A Sprint Spinning Class is a high-intensity cycling workout that combines elements of traditional spinning with intense bursts of sprinting. This type of class is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, boost metabolism, and enhance lower body strength.
FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Functional fitness is a type of training that focuses on building strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination to improve an individual's ability to perform everyday activities. It emphasizes movements that mimic real-life actions, helping individuals develop practical and useful strength.
